The former prince was detained on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n
He has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public
\noffice.<\/p>\n
It is understood that he is now in police custody.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s believed that inquiries are ongoing into whether Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor shared sensitive information with Jeffrey
\nEpstein. It\u2019s believed that the information relates to the time
\nthat Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was a trade envoy for the UK.<\/p>\n
Mr Mountbatten Windsor has always denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n
A number of police cars arrived on the morning of February 19 at
\nthe property on the Sandringham estate that Andrew moved to just a
\nfew weeks ago.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s understood that Thames Valley police were the force that
\narrived.<\/p>\n
Around 8am on February 19, six unmarked police cars and eight
\nplain clothes officers arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham
\nestate.<\/p>\n
Thames Valley Police confirmed that searches were being carried
\nout at a property in Berkshire.<\/p>\n
