aired on Netflix<\/a> last night, and the model had one of her most candid conversations to date about her 1-year-old son, Jack Blues Bieber. She discussed Jack\u2019s milestones, confirming that he is talking now and even singing a bit of his dad Justin Bieber\u2019s music.<\/p>\nShane asked if Jack was talking at 16 months, and Hailey confirmed he was. \u201cHe\u2019s so cute,\u201d she said. Shane followed up by asking what Jack says.<\/p>\n\nHailey replied, \u201cSo he talks a lot about basketball. He says \u2018basketball\u2019 all the time. I went to get him up from his nap today, and he was like \u2018basketball.\u2019 He\u2019s just\u2014it\u2019s insane. So funny. He also just started saying \u2018please.\u2019 He knew how to sign please for a really long time. So if I would say, \u2018Hey, say please,\u2019 he would go this [the sign language for please], as please. And now he goes, \u2018please,\u2019 oh, it\u2019s so cute. It\u2019s so fun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\nHailey added that she really enjoys motherhood. \u201cIt is so fun. I always knew I wanted kids; I always wanted to be a mom,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd then when it happens, you never know what to expect and you don\u2019t know what it\u2019s going to be like. And it honestly is. It\u2019s so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shane asked if there was anything she didn\u2019t expect that no one warned her about before having Jack.<\/p>\n
She had a thoughtful reply: \u201cIt\u2019s a whole bunch of you just don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen until you get there. I think something that I feel did surprise me, though, was I feel like I\u2019m a lot more relaxed as a mom than I thought I would be. I think especially as a first-time mom.\u201d<\/p>\n
She thought she was going to be \u201ca lot more\u201d stressed about the health and safety of her child, adding that she was in the beginning. \u201cWhen I first had him, I definitely had more anxiety about, you know, when they\u2019re so small, it\u2019s a lot scarier,\u201d she said. \u201cBut even so, I was a lot more relaxed about everything than I thought because I realized that you just figure it out as you go every single day. You\u2019re just figuring out how to be a parent as you go, and you\u2019re just learning as they\u2019re learning. And I think it\u2019s just the coolest thing to watch a little person become their own little person. I\u2019m watching him get his personality. I\u2019m seeing what he\u2019s into. He likes basketball. He likes this thing. You know? It\u2019s so fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jack is already sporty, she told Shane: \u201cHe\u2019s walking. He\u2019s running,\u201d she began before adding, \u201cHe\u2019s kicking a soccer ball. He\u2019s throwing the soccer ball.\u201d Her son is \u201cinto all of it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
He is also into his dad\u2019s music. Hailey revealed that Jack does listen to it\u2014and is even reciting the lyrics of \u201cBaby.\u201d \u201cHe\u2019s been saying, \u2018Baby, oh baby, oh baby oh.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018Whoa, that is so crazy,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Shane asked Hailey whether she plans on having more kids as Jack gets older. \u201cI definitely want [to],\u201d she replied, though she quickly noted, \u201cI\u2019m taking it one kid at a time. I definitely do want one more. I\u2019m not in a rush, but I definitely want one more. Maybe I\u2019ll have four more. Maybe I\u2019ll have three. I don\u2019t know, I really don\u2019t know. I\u2019m just taking it one day at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n
