Fifth Season has acquired the rights to the erotic novel \u201cBeautiful Bastard\u201d with plans to develop it as a TV series, Variety has learned exclusively.<\/p>\n

The novel, which was published by Simon & Schuster<\/a> in 2013, is written by Christina Lauren<\/a>, the pen name of co-authors Christina Hobbs<\/a> and Lauren Billings<\/a>. Both Hobbs<\/a> and Billings will co-write the TV version, with Bill Dubuque<\/a> supervising. Dubuque will also produce with Kristen Campo<\/a>, with the two having recently worked together on the Fifth Season-Netflix<\/a> series \u201cHis & Hers<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
