The epic love story of \u201cOutlander\u201d is coming to an end this year, but no one knows how it\u2019s going to end, not even series star Sophie Skelton.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey won\u2019t tell me the ending because I\u2019m bad with spoilers\u201d she told PauseRewind. \u201cThey filmed three different endings and I still don\u2019t know what happens\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think they could decide either,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Skelton has played Brianna Fraser MacKenzie, the adult daughter of Claire and Jamie Fraser, since season two of the series.<\/p>\n
And while she doesn\u2019t know what fate her or her onscreen parents will meet, she\u2019s thinks fans will be happy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI loved season four, but I think this is my favorite season so far, and my character is in such a good place. I\u2019m so proud of the woman she\u2019s become. It\u2019s very cool.\u201d<\/p>\n
Skelton spoke with PauseRewind at the \u201cI Can Only Imagine 2\u201d <\/a>press day, where she also discussed her role in the sequel to the hit 2018 film.<\/p>\n She plays Shannon Street, the wife of MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard, played in the film by John Michael Finley.<\/p>\n As the band struggles to come up with another hit and continue their success, Bart is pulled away from home on tour, putting a strain on his family in a unique way that Skelton found relatable.<\/p>\n \u201cOften it can feel like that it is a very hard thing to explain,\u201d she said of a career in entertainment. \u201cA lot of my friends and family have nine till fives and the kind of ups and downs of doing a job, where you feel like you’ve met your new family, and you become so close, and you spend more time with these people than you spend with your own family, and then all of a sudden it’s taken away. You kind of scatter to different parts of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cAnd not only is that a hard thing to deal with but the highs of creating something and feeling so fulfilled and proud of yourself, and then the writer’s block, or sometimes, you know, with actors, you’re waiting for the next job. And it’s a very, it’s a very tricky headspace to be in, but I think it’s a headspace that so many people, no matter what your job, can relate to.
