The Wrecking Crew<\/a> filmmaker Angel Manuel Soto<\/a> has entertained plenty of viewers on Amazon Prime over the past few weeks, as his new action comedy has routinely been among the streaming service\u2019s most watched films since its launch on Jan. 28.<\/p>\n

Among the viewers of the Jason Momoma-Dave Bautista starrer was It and The Flash filmmaker Andy Muschietti<\/a>. Both filmmakers have a few things in common, including working in the DC universe. Soto\u2019s previous feature was DC\u2019s Blue Beetle<\/a>, while Muschietti\u2019s The Flash<\/a> briefly featured Wrecking Crew leading man Momoa, who plays Johnny Hale<\/a>, the estranged half-brother of Bautista<\/a>\u2019s James Hale<\/a>, as they seek to solve their father\u2019s murder.<\/p>\n

Muschietti agreed to interview Soto for The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> in a conversation that took place over Zoom in Spanish (Soto hails from Puerto Rico and Muschietti is from Argentina) and was later translated into English.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
