In a collective statement, the group said of this new record, which was once again produced by <strong>Randy LeBoeuf<\/strong> (<strong>Kublai Khan TX<\/strong>, <strong>Gideon<\/strong>):<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c\u2018<strong>this is goodbye\u2026<\/strong> is <strong>Chamber<\/strong> at our most open and instinctive. A lot of this record was written on the spot in <strong>Randy<\/strong>\u2019s studio, with no time to overthink what wewere playing. When I think back on putting this record together, I just remember the laughs we had in the studio and how naturally these songs came to be. To be real, we just had a ton of fun and tried to write parts that would get each other stoked.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A music video directed by <strong>Nick Chance<\/strong> (<strong>Orthodox<\/strong>, <strong>Lorna Shore<\/strong>) for the new single \u201c<strong>violins<\/strong>\u201d has just made it out, with guitarist\/vocalist <strong>Gabe Manuel<\/strong> commenting:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe almost always write pieces of songs and put them together in the studio, but \u2018<strong>Violins<\/strong>\u2018 was one of a few songs on this record that we finished writing pretty far in advance. I was listening heavy to \u2018<strong>De-Loused<\/strong>\u2018\/\u2019<strong>Frances the Mute<\/strong>\u2018 era <strong>The Mars Volta<\/strong> when we were writing this, and the rhythm of the chorus is definitely influenced by that stuff + anime theme song vibes.
