UFC<\/span><\/a> fighter<\/span> Sean Strickland<\/span><\/a> apparently thought the best way to promote<\/span> his upcoming match<\/span><\/a> with Anthony Hernandez was to make vulgar, sexist comments about two of the biggest personalities in <\/span>mixed martial arts<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n During a press gathering<\/span><\/a> on Wednesday, Strickland turned a question about the upcoming<\/span> coming-out-of-retirement match<\/span><\/a> between<\/span> Ronda Rousey<\/span><\/a> and<\/span> Gina Carano<\/span><\/a> into a bizarre rant where he discussed his childhood masturbation habits while trashing women\u2019s sports.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Strickland started off his charm offensive \u2015 minus the charm \u2015 by mocking Paramount+, the streamer carrying Saturday\u2019s match, because it \u201cfucking ruined \u2018Halo\u2019\u201d by making it \u201cgay,\u201d before referencing the Rousey-Carano match scheduled for May.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhoever thought about that?\u201d he wondered, before asking, \u201cAre they gonna be half naked? It might make it a little better.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Strickland did praise Rousey\u2019s ability \u2015 \u201cThat bitch can fight\u201d \u2015 and also said he liked the fact that Carano is \u201clike, super conservative,\u201d before going into a memory no one wanted to hear \u2015 trust us.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI was like a kid when she fought. I may have jerked off to her once or twice back in the day … I was like, what, like 12? I was jerking off when I was 12.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n He then suggested that \u201cnobody gives a fuck\u201d about the Rousey-Carano fight, but suggested, \u201cmaybe put some oil on it, you know. Do some dollar bills. People might give a fuck.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Strickland then claimed that \u201cno one gives a fuck about women\u2019s sports,\u201d and that the \u201cweakest, softest motherfucker\u201d attending the presser could easily beat up current female UFC star Amanda Nunes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n But Strickland took great pains to let reporters in attendance know that \u201cthere\u2019s nothing wrong with women,\u201d but his reasons seemed straight out of the Stone Age.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI mean, they do great things. You know, they fucking \u2014 they cook, they clean,\u201d he noted, before adding, \u201cThere are no women in prison, right? Like, that\u2019s why I didn\u2019t go to fucking prison, knowing I\u2019m gonna have to go be surrounded by a bunch of fucking dudes for 30 years.
