Desert punk trio RED SUN ATACAMA drop a second bombshell: an album-titled video for \u201cSummerchild\u201d\u00a0made up of live footage. The album itself will be released on March 13th 2026 via Mrs Red Sound.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Desert punk locos RED SUN ATACAMA\u2019s new album \u2018Summerchild\u2019 is irradiated with the solar fuzz, acid riffs and telluric percussions that define the project. Between\u00a0psychedelic ritual, punk urgency and incandescent desert rock<\/strong>, \u2018Summerchild\u2019 ranges from hypnotic ballads of relentless groove to ultra-catchy outbursts.\u00a0Commenting on the new track \u201cSummerchild\u201d and its video, Cl\u00e9ment Marquez (bass\/vocals) says:\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s probably the most rock\u2019n\u2019roll track on the album. It\u2019s a very direct, rather sunny song that marks a narrative turning point on the record, towards a kind of rebirth. It\u2019s a bit like the \u2018phoenix\u2019 song on the album! For the video, we went for something very personal: a collection of footage from our last four years on tour, mixed with moments from the recording of the song at the Apiary this summer.
