Cleveland metal\/industrial band\u00a0RIKETS<\/strong>\u00a0have announced the release of their long-awaited new EP,\u00a0Tales from the Construct AlphAA v.1<\/em>, arriving\u00a0April 20<\/strong>\u00a0via\u00a0Godsize Music<\/strong>. The band will celebrate the release with a special hometown EP release show on\u00a0April 18<\/strong>\u00a0at Cleveland\u2019s iconic\u00a0Globe Iron<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

RIKETS features members of\u00a0Switched<\/strong>,\u00a0Erase the Grey<\/strong>,\u00a0Left4 Dead<\/strong>, and\u00a0Anchored<\/strong>, bringing together decades of experience from the heavy and industrial underground.<\/p>\n

Produced by\u00a0Ben Schigel<\/strong>\u00a0(Chimaira, Drowning Pool, Walls of Jericho, MGK),\u00a0Tales from the Construct AlphAA v.1<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a collection of material written during the COVID lockdowns, exploring themes of isolation, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and systemic overreach.<\/p>\n

The EP marks RIKETS\u2019\u00a0first release since 2010<\/strong>, picking up where\u00a0All American Death Cult<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0left off after a near\u00a016-year hiatus<\/strong>. While the new effort leans heavily into a more\u00a0synth-driven, industrial sound<\/strong>, the band remains firmly rooted in metal. Tracks like\u00a0\u201cMisery,\u201d \u201cInfected and Controlled,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cFEED\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0dig deep with crushing riffs, infectious hooks, and earworm choruses that linger long after the final note.<\/p>\n

To commemorate the release, RIKETS will return to the stage on\u00a0April 18<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Globe Iron<\/strong>.
