Former \u201cAmerican Idol<\/a>\u201d contestant Caleb Flynn<\/a> was arrested in connection with his wife\u2019s murder Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

The former music pastor, who competed on Season 12 in 2013, was arrested and charged in Miami County Municipal Court. He was charged with murder, two counts of felonious assault and two counts of tampering with evidence, according to Miami County Municipal Court documents.<\/p>\n

Flynn<\/a> pled not guilty during his arraignment Friday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to take care of my daughters. I\u2019m not a risk,\u201d he told Judge Samuel Huffman. His bond was set at $2 million. The singer\u2019s preliminary hearing will be Thursday.<\/p>\n

His wife Ashley Flynn<\/a> was found shot to death Monday at 2:30 a.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
