As he prepares to take the stage tonight (Feb. 20) at Rodeo West in Dallas, Texas<\/strong>, Jesse Turner<\/a><\/strong> of\u00a0Siggno<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is embracing the past, honoring his mother\u2019s memory, and stepping boldly into a new chapter.<\/p>\n

In a heartfelt interview on The Bo Corona Show<\/em><\/a><\/strong> on\u00a0Fierro HD<\/a><\/strong>, Turner opened up about the highly anticipated Recuerdos Tour<\/strong> with\u00a0Grupo La Firma<\/a><\/strong>, his upcoming deeply personal album, and the beginning of a new collaboration era \u2014 including the just-released \u201cTrat\u00e9 de Olvidarte\/Hasta la Cima del Cielo\u201d medley with\u00a0Grupo S\u00f3lido<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt Was Ours\u201d: The Birth of the Recuerdos Tour<\/h3>\n

Turner says the idea for the Recuerdos Tour came naturally, rooted in shared history with La Firma frontman\u00a0Louie Padilla<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was ours,\u201d Turner said. \u201cWe both come from the same era, from the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

He praised Padilla\u2019s songwriting legacy, noting that many fans may not realize the depth of his catalog. From hits for\u00a0David Lee Garza y Los Musicales<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to chart-toppers recorded by\u00a0Intocable<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 including \u201cSo\u00f1ador Eterno\u201d and \u201cCoqueta\u201d \u2014 Padilla\u2019s influence runs deep. He has also penned songs for\u00a0Grupo Pesado<\/strong>\u00a0and many others.<\/p>\n

Despite that impressive r\u00e9sum\u00e9, Turner says La Firma\u2019s own hits like \u201cLa Llamada\u201d and \u201cPara Olvidarla\u201d deserve just as much recognition.<\/p>\n

The idea for a joint tour intensified after Turner joined La Firma at a packed show at\u00a0Arena Monterrey, where more than 12,000 fans filled the venue. Surprise guests included\u00a0David Olivarez<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jose Zamora<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Grupo Costumbre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all went, and it was an honor to share the stage with them,\u201d Turner recalled. \u201cAnd we\u2019re like, man, we should make this tour \u2014 remembering the past, yet still doing something in the present, staying relevant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Music Born From Loss<\/h3>\n

The Recuerdos Tour represents nostalgia and celebration \u2014 but for Turner, this season is also deeply personal.<\/p>\n

After the passing of his mother in August, Turner poured himself into music during the week leading up to her funeral.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went into the studio and I wrote a bunch of songs because I didn\u2019t want to be home and I didn\u2019t want to be sad,\u201d he shared. \u201cSo I finished the album during that time. I sang before my mom was buried, and I wrote her a song.\u201d<\/p>\n

The upcoming album \u2014 his first release since her passing \u2014 is centered entirely around her memory. The cover features a photo of Turner and his mother, a tribute that sparked an emotional moment with Padilla.<\/p>\n

When Padilla saw the artwork, he revealed that he had written three songs for his own mother after her passing 13 years ago \u2014 songs he had vowed never to release. But their friendship changed that.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said, \u2018Let\u2019s do this song that I\u2019ve had for my mom.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The result is a brand-new collaboration titled \u201cLa Ausencia,\u201d a powerful symbol of shared grief and healing. Turner says the project goes beyond touring \u2014 it\u2019s about creating something meaningful for the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not just doing a tour together. We\u2019re doing songs together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two have already teamed up on classics like \u201cEsta Lloviendo,\u201d \u201cMejor D\u00edmelo,\u201d and \u201cPara Olvidarla,\u201d but \u201cLa Ausencia\u201d marks a fresh and emotional chapter.<\/p>\n

A Collaboration Era Begins<\/h3>\n

Turner also unveiled a brand-new medley blending his heartfelt original \u201cTrat\u00e9 de Olvidarte\u201d with \u201cHasta la Cima del Cielo,\u201d performed alongside Grupo S\u00f3lido.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a mixture of the past,\u201d Turner explained. \u201cWhat great way to celebrate my mom\u2019s life than to not live in sadness, but live in memory \u2014 and take steps forward and be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He calls it the beginning of a new collaboration era \u2014 one rooted in unity, friendship, and honoring legacy through music.<\/p>\n

One Night, One Stage<\/h3>\n

Backstage, Turner says the chemistry between Siggno and La Firma is undeniable.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll we do is talk, all we do is sing,\u201d he said. \u201cThey\u2019re all talented musicians. If you\u2019ve never seen La Firma, they are one of the most talented musicians that you can find.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also highlighted the mutual respect between the bands, noting how Padilla introduces Siggno to Mexican audiences by reminding them of the group\u2019s impact and legacy.<\/p>\n

For now, the Recuerdos Tour stop at Rodeo West in Dallas is a rare opportunity to see both powerhouse bands share one stage. While Turner hinted they may revisit the concept later this year, he made it clear: tonight is special.<\/p>\n
