Something so different that, as soon as I heard it, I said to myself: \u2018I want to play that instrument,\u2019\u201d he recalled in an interview published in the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo in 2011.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"px-1 storyContent flex flex-col  svelte-1ael1cx\" style=\"font-family:&quot;Noto Serif&quot;; overflow-x: auto;\">\n<p>At 17, he joined the group of artists that formed the famous record label Fania Records, led and created by Jerry Masucci and Johnny Pacheco .
