Baby steps.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Vonn, who won gold in the 2010 downhill, was attempting to make an Olympics comeback at age 41. She had already ruptured her ACL just days before the Games. She fell just seconds into the downhill at the Games and was airlifted to a hospital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This past week she revealed personal heartbreak as well. Her dog Leo died<\/a> the day after her accident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis has been an incredibly hard few days,\u201d she wrote. \u201cProbably the hardest of my life. I still have not come to terms that he is gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
