SZA<\/a> has released a new song, \u201cSave the Day,\u201d for humans \u2014 and robo-beavers \u2014 everywhere.<\/p>\n The singer\u2019s new track, \u201cSave the Day,\u201d is set to appear on Disney and Pixar\u2019s upcoming film, Hoppers.<\/em> According to Laughing Place<\/a>, the track will play during the end credits of the movie. Stream the track below.<\/p>\n When you hear its melancholic atmosphere, \u201cSave the Day\u201d will put you in a better mood. The soft track touches on missions and commitments, suggesting that the film will have a happy-ish ending.<\/p>\n \u201cSave the Day\u201d originally came about because Hoppers<\/em> director Daniel Chong is reportedly a big fan of SZA\u2019s music. In a recent press panel, Chong revealed that he used her songs as placeholders for the end credits. \u201cEvery time we did put a song there, it was a SZA song,\u201d he said. \u201cWe used \u2018Good Days\u2019 once, and then we used \u2018Saturn\u2019 once.\u201d<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n \u201cAnd there\u2019s just a vibe for those two songs that I think had a melancholy (feel) to it, and a sort of joy but sadness to it that really felt like that is the mood for the end of the movie,\u201d Chong added. This ultimately led to him reaching out to SZA to create a song once she got off \u201cThe Grand National Tour\u201d with Kendrick Lamar<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hoppers<\/em> hits movie theaters on March 6th. The film, which stars Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, and Jon Hamm, follows a young woman named Mabel who has her mind transferred to a robotic beaver so she can communicate with animals and help save their habitat.<\/p>\n
