It\u2019s a beautiful day for Katherine Heigl<\/strong><\/a> to remember the life of Eric Dane<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The actress\u2014who costarred alongside Eric on ABC\u2019s Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em><\/a>\u2014shared a powerful message about grief days after the Euphoria <\/em>actor died following a yearlong battle with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI debated this post for days,\u201d Katherine wrote in a Feb. 22 Instagram<\/a> post. \u201cI have never been comfortable grieving publicly. I share my tears, my stories and my memories with those I\u2019m closest to and more times than not I share them only with the heavens alone. But that silence can often look like a lack of care which I could not abide here.\u201d<\/p>\n She also offered a few kind words to Eric\u2019s family, including his estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart<\/strong><\/a>\u2014who shared kids Billie<\/strong>, 15, and Georgia<\/strong>, 14, with the Burlesque\u00a0<\/em>actor.<\/p>\n \u201cRebecca, Billie, Georgia\u2026There is so little, if in fact anything, one can say about a tragic loss like yours,\u201d she continued. \u201cAll the \u2018I\u2019m sorries\u2019 and \u2018my prayers are with you\u2019 ring a bit hollow in the midst of so much pain and grief.
