Members of the UK-based campaign group Everyone Hates Elon hung an arrest photograph of ex-Prince Andrew inside the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday, saying they wanted to show \u00e2\u20ac\u0153how the world will remember\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the former British royal, as reported by the Euro News website.<\/p>\n
For about 15 minutes, the image appeared on a gallery wall near iconic works including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The activists mounted the photograph with a caption reading, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153He\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s sweating now,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d referencing Andrew\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s widely criticised 2019 Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis. In that interview, he claimed he could not sweat and denied allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, who had said she saw him perspiring during an encounter at a nightclub.<\/p>\n
Giuffre, who died by suicide last year<\/a>, had accused Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of having sex with her when she was a minor being trafficked by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n The photograph displayed at the Louvre shows Mountbatten-Windsor slumped in the back seat of a Range Rover after leaving a Norfolk police station on 19 February, hours after authorities arrested him on suspicion of misconduct<\/a> in public office.
