Almost a decade after it ended, Bones<\/a> has yet to be matched. However, NBC<\/a> is trying with its new slate of pilots.<\/p>\n

Several days after Bones<\/a> lead star David Boreanaz<\/a> joined a new pilot for the reboot of The Rockford Files<\/a>, NBC is doubling down with a new series. Per Variety, Boreanaz’s former co-star Emily Deschanel<\/a> has received her own lead in the network’s untitled drama pilot from Dean Georgaris<\/a> (Quantum<\/a> Leap<\/a>) and John Fox<\/a> (The Equalizer<\/a>).<\/p>\n

NBC had ordered the pilot in January, which will be produced by Universal Studio Group<\/a>‘s Universal TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n
