{"id":2296807,"date":"2026-02-24T03:46:02","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T03:46:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2296807"},"modified":"2026-02-24T03:46:02","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T03:46:02","slug":"there-were-a-lot-of-tears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/there-were-a-lot-of-tears\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;There were a lot of tears&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Amid the frantic search for her mother, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/03\/celebrity-news\/savannah-guthries-husband-breaks-silence-on-missing-mother-in-law-nancy\/\">Savannah Guthrie\u2019s husband, Mike Feldman, quietly paid a visit to \u201cToday\u201d<\/a> to show her colleagues their appreciation for the outpouring of support.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re told that since Nancy Guthrie went missing from her home nearly a month ago, Savannah\u2019s family  has been blown away by the love from her colleagues at NBC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the top of the company to the bottom \u2013 it\u2019s gone beyond just a workplace,\u201d a source close to Savannah told Page Six.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Savannah Guthrie\u2019s husband, Michael Feldman, recently paid a visit to \u201cToday\u201d amid the search for her mom, Nancy.  <span class=\"credit\">feldmike\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Feldman has been going back and forth from New York to be with Savannah in Arizona. <span class=\"credit\">BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>They added Savannah\u2019s colleagues have been asking, \u201c\u2018Can we send clothes, arrange for food? Can we take the kids? [Can we] create a distraction at a moment that helps them manage through this as a family?\u2019 The love is real.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Feldman visited \u201cToday\u201d about two weeks ago and an insider, who was present, described the meeting as \u201cvery emotional.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were a lot of tears.\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p>They added he was there on behalf of his wife to simply thank them. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Savannah\u2019s mother, Nancy, was kidnapped from her home on Feb. 1. <span class=\"credit\">via REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Video captured a suspect breaking into Nancy\u2019s home on the night of the kidnapping.  <span class=\"credit\">FBI<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Savannah\u2019s family has been isolated, mainly interacting with each other and law enforcement, so, \u201cit was great for him to look everyone in the eye and vice versa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a large group and he went around and thanked everyone, and got a bunch of hugs,\u201d the insider said. \u201cThis is an extension of their family, and never more so than now. They\u2019re more than coworkers. The tears were real, and [the colleagues] are struggling too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The first source told us Savannah\u2019s, \u201cnot in a position to respond to anyone right now because it\u2019s too overwhelming, but she\u2019s seeing the messages, and hears the prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>A source close to Savannah described her \u201cToday\u201d colleagues as extended family.  <span class=\"credit\">Christopher Smith\/Invision\/AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Savannah\u2019s last video post was on Feb.15.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram \/ Savannah Guthrie<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Savannah is leaning stronger into her faith.  <span class=\"credit\">via REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, Feldman has been <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/17\/celebrity-news\/savannah-guthries-husband-spotted-hurrying-back-to-tucson-as-desperate-search-for-mother-in-law-continues\/\">traveling back and forth from New York to Arizona<\/a>, where Savannah is with her family, as the search for Nancy, who went missing on Feb.1, continues. <\/p>\n<p>Savannah continues to be off from the \u201cToday\u201d show and her <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/09\/entertainment\/hoda-kotb-fills-in-for-savannah-guthrie-1-year-on-today-amid-nancys-disappearance\/\">former co-anchor Hoda Kotb has been filling in<\/a>. Sources told us a return to work is the furthest thing from Savannah\u2019s mind at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Savannah<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/15\/celebrity-news\/savannah-guthrie-pleas-with-suspected-kidnapper-of-mom-nancy-in-new-video\/\"> last addressed the public in a video she posted on Feb 15<\/a>, where she made a plea for her mom\u2019s kidnappers to \u201cdo the right thing\u2026  it\u2019s never too late,\u201d she said.
