Chris Hemsworth<\/a> might be a movie star to his fans, but his kids couldn\u2019t care less about his global stardom. During his recent chat with PEOPLE, the MCU star revealed what his children thought about his acting career. He and his wife, Elsa Pataky, share 13-year-old daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, and 11-year-old twin boys, Sasha Hemsworth and Tristan Hemsworth.<\/p>\n

Chris Hemsworth\u2019s kids \u2018don\u2019t care at all\u2019 their dad\u2019s a global movie star<\/h2>\n

While attending the \u201cCrime 101\u201d premiere at United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles on February 10, Chris Hemsworth was asked whether his movie star status earns him any \u201ccool points\u201d with his kids. He told PEOPLE, \u201cThey don\u2019t care. They don\u2019t care at all.\u201d He further explained that his kids were impressed with his acting career when they were younger, but don\u2019t feel the same now.<\/p>\n

Hemsworth revealed to PEOPLE, \u201cI reckon when they first realized I was\u00a0Thor, they thought it was really cool. And then they realized they couldn\u2019t fly and they thought it was less cool. Now they\u2019re just like, \u2018ah, Dad, whatever.\u2019 Teenagers.\u201d He left the United States with his family in 2015 and now resides in Byron Bay, located south of Australia\u2019s Gold Coast. <\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Hemsworth and Pataky revealed what it is like to raise their three children in the surf town. In a candid conversation with PEOPLE<\/a>, the \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d star said, \u201cIt feels like summer all year round where we live. We got a big plot of land, a farm with\u00a0horses, and our kids\u00a0surf\u00a0and\u00a0fish\u00a0and\u00a0ride motorbikes\u00a0all day. And we pretty much do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

In \u201cCrime 101,\u201d Hemsworth appears as a jewel thief, Mike Davis. The film is based on Don Winslow\u2019s novella. It also stars Halle Berry, Barry Keoghan,\u00a0Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins,\u00a0Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte. Berry plays an insurance broker, Sharon Coombs, who teams up with Mike for a heist.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
