As Kendall Jenner settles into her thirties, her long-term future is on her mind, but she\u2019s also living in the moment. The model spoke candidly about her hopes to have a family someday\u2014but not imminently\u2014during her Vogue France<\/em><\/a> interview. The magazine had asked her if she was thinking more about having children now that she\u2019s 30.<\/p>\n

She replied, \u201cYes, of course. I want to have them, but not right now. I want to make sure I can dedicate a lot of time to them, and for the moment, I\u2019m still too busy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the discussion, she spoke about what she wished she had done differently in her twenties\u2014and how she\u2019s applying those lessons in her thirties.<\/p>\n

The outlet asked what she\u2019d like to accomplish this year.<\/p>\n

Jenner said, \u201cThe most important thing will be to stay true to myself and continue having a good time. That might sound like a clich\u00e9 answer, but it\u2019s really important to me. I think most women\u2014most people\u2014understand this: When you\u2019re in your twenties, you don\u2019t always really know who you are or what you want, so things can quickly become difficult or stressful. Many older people tell me they wish they had been more relaxed in their twenties, not taken things so seriously, and enjoyed life more. It was the same for me: When I was 20, I was too stressed and spent all my time running around. Now that I\u2019m 30, I want to focus on myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time this year that the model has spoken about being childfree and enjoying her new decade. She spoke to Owen Thiele on In Your Dreams<\/em><\/a> last month about how much she likes being alone, revealing she even takes solo trips.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really enjoy it,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cI think that\u2019s why\u2014I mean, I want a husband, of course\u2014but that\u2019s why I also don\u2019t have kids, I feel like, because I\u2019m just like, I like my freedom. I like this independence that I have right now. And I can do my own thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
