Taylor Swift had a major music milestone this week, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for the 14th time in her career<\/a> with her new single \u201cOpalite.\u201d To f\u00eate the accomplishment, the singer gave her fans an intimate look inside the creation of the song. She appeared fresh-faced and makeup-free in most of the carousel, wearing multiple cozy sweaters as she worked on the track.<\/p>\n

Her mint-green one is from The Row<\/a>, and her Team USA flag sweater<\/a> is from Ralph Lauren. She also had an emerald-green sweater on while she recorded.<\/p>\n

In her caption, Swift thanked her fans for their support and expressed her amazement at the feat. \u201cJust a few \u2018Opalite\u2019 memories to celebrate the Hot 100 #1 you guys just got this song!!\u201d she wrote. \u201cI can\u2019t even sum up my excitement and I\u2019m so blown away by the love you\u2019ve shown this song and video. To put this into perspective\u2026 This is actually the first time I\u2019ve had two Hot 100 #1s off of one album since my album 1989<\/em> came out in 2014, nearly twelve years ago! I know that\u2019s a lot of numbers but it all adds up to me being so thankful to the fans who helped make this happen by welcoming this song into your lives with open arms. While \u201cOpalite\u201d originally came out in October as a part of Swift\u2019s album The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>, she just released the music video<\/a> for it earlier this month. Initially, she debuted it on just Apple Music and Spotify Premium. Later, she added it to YouTube and released an extended version<\/a> on Apple Music, Spotify Premium, Tidal, and Amazon Music.<\/p>\n
