Xavier Trudeau<\/strong> isn’t feeling hot ‘n’ cold over <\/span>Katy Perry<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Two months after the “California Gurls” singer hard launched her relationship with <\/a><\/span>Justin Trudeau<\/strong><\/a>, the former Canadian Prime Minister’s son shared his thoughts on their romance.<\/span><\/p>\n “She’s cool, she’s nice,” Xavier told <\/span>G Hobs<\/strong> in a Feb. 21 Instagram video<\/a>. “We talked for hours, talking about my music. She gave me advice and next steps for me and stuff.”<\/span><\/p>\n And it was invaluable guidance for the 18-year-old<\/span>, who is <\/span>pursuing his own music career <\/span>under the moniker <\/span>Xav<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I always loved music, whether it’s creating it, listening to it,” he explained on <\/span>The Brandon Gonez Show<\/span><\/a> podcast in May. “I always had a passion for it.”<\/span><\/p>\n Justin and his <\/span>estranged wife <\/span>Sophie Gr\u00e9goire Trudeau<\/strong>\u2014who also share kids <\/span>Ella-Grace Trudeau<\/strong>, 17, and <\/span>Hadrien Trudeau<\/strong>, 11\u2014had put their eldest in music classes, including drumming, guitar and piano.<\/span> <\/strong>A few years ago, Xavier decided to try making some beats to record over with his phone.
