Paramount Skydance<\/a> boss David Ellison<\/a> will be in attendance at Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s State of the Union address on Tuesday night. The news comes hours after his studio upped its bid for the entirety of Warner Bros. Discovery<\/a> to $31 per share.<\/p>\n

Sen. Lindsey Graham<\/a> of South Carolina posted on X Tuesday afternoon that Ellison<\/a> will be his guest at Trump\u2019s address.<\/p>\n

Reps for Paramount Skydance did not immediately respond to Variety\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Discovery said in a press release on Tuesday that the Wbd board \u201chad not made a determination\u201d whether or not Paramount<\/a>\u2019s offer is \u201csuperior\u201d to the deal currently in place with Netflix<\/a>. If Paramount\u2019s new bid is preferable, Netflix will \u201chave four business days after such determination to negotiate with Wbd and to propose any revisions to the Netflix transaction.\u201d<\/p>\n
