Concert promoter Live Nation New England is in the middle of the approval process for a 3,300-seat venue next door to the Merrill Auditorium on Congress Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The moratorium came on the heels of the venue proposal. The measure took effect in\u00a0September 2025 and\u00a0expires on March 9.
