The Chase is returning with celebrity Christmas specials later this year.<\/p>\n

Bradley Walsh is set for another celebrity special of The Chase<\/p>\n
The daytime quiz show is set to record for its festive editions at Elstree Film and TV Studios next month.<\/p>\n
As confirmed in a listing from SRO Audiences, fans can apply for free tickets for the March 29 taping, with doors opening at 4:45pm and the show ending at around 8pm.<\/p>\n
On the website, the company notes: “Although some shows are edited for a pre-watershed audience, the recordings themselves may contain post-watershed content.<\/p>\n
The production have set a minimum age that they feel is appropriate for this recording.”<\/p>\n
\nThe news comes after ITV announced new international format The Chase Around The World.<\/p>\n
\nHost Bradley Walsh said in a statement: “This bold new take on The Chase combines quizzing with travelling and will test contestant\u2019s knowledge like never before.<\/p>\n
\n“The Chasers are already famous around the world, so fans can look forward to seeing them ply their trade in some superb secret locations.”<\/p>\n
\nThe new spinoff series will see six pairs of contestants trying to track down the UK’s biggest brains in secret locations across the globe.<\/p>\n
\nTo do so, they’ll be putting their general knowledge, intellect, puzzle-solving and observational skills to the test as they try to discover landmarks and iconic spots.<\/p>\n
\nThe last duo to arrive at the destination will be forced to face the Chasers in a head-to-head battle which they must win to continue in the game.<\/p>\n
\nIn a joint statement, Sue Murphy, Director of Factual Entertainment Commissioning at ITV and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment at ITV, said: “The Chase Around The World is a really exciting new format taking the DNA of Britain\u2019s most iconic quiz into epic real-world locations, in a high-stakes battle of knowledge.<\/p>\n
\n“The show is full of surprises, problem-solving, and fantastic play-along for viewers. “Combined with The Chasers\u2019 intellect and host Bradley\u2019s inimitable wit, viewers are in for an absolute treat in this brand-new iteration of a much-loved brand.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
