Or as the airline puts it: leaning into its <em>Finnishness<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Finnair\u2019s Finnishness is now a core part of the airline\u2019s business strategy as it seeks to capitalise on Finnish culture.  To do so, the airline has just released a new suite of music \u2013 a soundscape, if you will, which will be used throughout the passenger experience, such as for boarding music.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Finnair boarding music 2026\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RzdKTR3jI7A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Created by fourth-generation Finnish musician and composer\u00a0Lauri Porra, the new ensemble has been called Matkantekij\u00e4, which translates to <em>traveller<\/em> in English.  Porra says he has created a musical piece that \u201cdepicts the Finnish mindscape and the atmosphere of travel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinnair has given wings to Finnish people, companies and culture for 102 years, and Finnishness has always been an essential part of us,\u201d explains Simon Large, the Helsinki-based carrier\u2019s chief customer officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinnish \u2018happiness\u2019 raises interest around the world. We want to make Finns proud and the world curious about our culture.
