Mumford & Sons<\/a>\u00a0played a surprise and intimate last-minute \u201cunplugged\u201d show in Brooklyn last night \u2013 check out footage below.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s sixth studio album \u2018Prizefighter<\/a>\u2019 was released on Friday (February 20) via Island Records and the band are currently in New York as they prepare to be the musical guests on this week\u2019s Saturday Night Live<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the band posted a video on their Instagram, telling fans that they would be playing an impromptu\u00a0and unplugged\u00a0show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, and urging them to show up at the venue at\u00a08pm on a first come first served basis.<\/p>\n

At the show, the band played\u00a0without microphones, and performed\u00a0six songs from \u2018Prizefighter\u2019,\u00a0including the singles \u2018Rubber Band Man\u2019 and \u2018The Banjo Song\u2019,\u00a0as well as classics such as \u2018The Cave\u2019 and \u2018Awake My Soul\u2019.<\/p>\n
