by Alex Billington<\/a>\t\t “I’m too wholesome or too boring or too quiet or loud; I’m too sexy or too modest or I’m lost in the crowd; I’m too literal, then I just make no sense at all; I fall in love and then feel trapped and stumble and fall?”<\/em> There’s a new music video out to watch for a song called “My Life<\/strong>“, which is the debut single by artist Julia Cumming<\/strong>. It’s her first solo single \u2013 though some might also recognize her from the band Sunflower Bean before this. The music video is directed by none other than Edgar Wright<\/strong>, maestro of genre cinema known for the Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead<\/em>, Hot Fuzz<\/em>, The World’s End<\/em>) and The Running Man<\/em><\/a> last year. Edgar explains on Twitter: “It’s mostly one single shot<\/strong> (take 14, since you asked) and I couldn’t even begin to make a vid like this without an AMAZING crew who worked their socks off.” The film follows musician Julia Cumming on her daily adventures, dancing through life & questioning who she is.
