Milwaukee officially welcomed the Landmark Credit Union Live this week \u2014 a new 4,500-capacity indoor venue in the heart of the Deer District.<\/p>\n

Developed through a partnership between Live Nation and FPC Live, the purpose-built concert hall is designed to serve as a critical mid-size room in the market, hosting more than 70 events annually while accommodating artists growing between club and arena levels.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe opening of Landmark Credit Union Live marks an exciting milestone for Milwaukee and its growing music scene,\u201d Joel Plant, CEO of Frank Productions, said in a press release. \u201cThis venue is an investment in the city, driving long-term growth and energy downtown. It will provide a vital space for artists to grow between clubs and arenas, while delivering unforgettable, high-energy experiences for fans night after night.\u201d<\/p>\n

The venue officially launches with a community celebration featuring performances by Vinyl Department, DJ Lukewarm, The Steph Lippert Project and Chicken Wire Empire. Proceeds from the event will benefit Grace Weber\u2019s Music Lab, a Radio Milwaukee initiative supporting music and arts education.<\/p>\n

Jordan Lee, Executive Director of Radio Milwaukee, noted that \u201cGrammy Award winner and Milwaukee native Grace Weber came to us years ago, asking to help connect youth in a city that\u2019s internationally known for segregation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer program has successfully accomplished that dream year over year\u2026 creating new opportunities and career paths for our city\u2019s kids,\u201d Lee said. \u201cThis program is a true gem in the Milwaukee music community, and our partnership with Landmark Credit Union Live makes it possible to inspire even more young people to explore careers in live entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Landmark Credit Union Live will continue collaborating with Radio Milwaukee on initiatives centered on education, access and career awareness within the live events sector, with additional details expected in the coming months.<\/p>\n

Purpose-built for touring productions, the venue features state-of-the-art sound and technical systems along with artist-focused amenities, including backstage lounge areas, a gym and a private patio. Food and beverage offerings spotlight local partnerships, including Koko\u2019s Bavarian specialties, Sheboygan Pasty Co., Third Space Brewing and 3 Sheeps Brewing.<\/p>\n

Andrew Newport, Regional Vice President of Operations for Live Nation, said the venue was designed to reflect the character of the city while prioritizing both fan and artist experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe built Landmark Credit Union Live to be a place where fans can truly lose themselves in the music and have an unforgettable night out,\u201d Newport said. \u201cFrom favorite local bites and craft beer to the art and design touches that celebrate Milwaukee, every detail reflects the spirit of this city. And behind the scenes, we\u2019ve created welcoming spaces where touring artists and crews can relax and feel at home the moment they arrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Design elements by Blueprint Studio, Live Nation\u2019s in-house global design group, incorporate Milwaukee-specific references, including a Drum Wall and \u201cMessage in a Bottle\u201d bar inspired by Drum\u2019s Hollow and the city\u2019s historic waterways. A TYME Machine-themed photo booth, created with naming partner Landmark Credit Union, nods to Milwaukee\u2019s nostalgic ATM network, while custom artwork by local artist Taylor Berman highlights native wildlife and lakefront landscapes. A backstage sheet music mural pays tribute to Hal Leonard, long headquartered in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n

City leaders say the venue is poised to deliver economic as well as cultural impact. More than 200 jobs have already been created across operations, hospitality and security roles, with starting wages at $20 per hour.<\/p>\n

The venue\u2019s first official ticketed performance takes place Feb. 27, headlined by Rainbow Kitten Surprise. The 2026 lineup also includes Bossman Dlow, Miguel, Mariah the Scientist, Boys Like Girls, Puscifer, Ari Lennox, Yellowcard and The Fray with Dashboard Confessional. Special events on the calendar include APFC 23: Milwaukee Fight Night 10 and the Christian Yelich Home Plate Charity Concert featuring Jake Owen.<\/p>\n
