As the stars of Scream 7<\/a> gathered Wednesday at Paramount<\/a> Studios for the slasher sequel\u2019s world premiere, \u201cFree Palestine\u201d protesters lined up outside the entrance to the lot.<\/p>\n

More than two years after she was fired from the franchise for speaking up about the Israel-Hamas conflict, Melissa Barrera<\/a> seemingly reacted to the show of support from protesters boycotting the Kevin Williamson<\/a>-helmed movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see you,\u201d wrote Barrera on her Instagram Story with a heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Williamson commented on the protest as he walked the red carpet inside the lot. \u201cWe live in America. We have the right to protest. They have the right to be heard, and they have a right to speak to what your truth is, and I support that,\u201d he told Deadline.<\/p>\n

After the first trailer for Scream 7<\/a> was released in October, fans quickly began slamming the movie on social media, calling for a boycott.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
