Wolfram Weimer<\/a>, of the Berlin Film Festival\u2019s governing body, Kbb GmbH, on Thursday morning to discuss the \u201cfuture direction\u201d of the Berlinale. It is believed the meeting was convened in response to criticism of political statements made at the festival.<\/p>\n\u201cThis morning, a supervisory board meeting of Kbb GmbH took place in the Chancellery. The topic was the Berlinale,\u201d said a spokesman for Weimer. \u201cTalks on the Berlinale will continue in the coming days between the director, Tricia Tuttle, and the supervisory board.\u201d<\/p>\n
