Indeed, the show’s creator shared insight into season two’s timeline as his team prepares to bring the captivating romance between hockey players Shane Hollander (<\/span>Hudson Williams<\/strong><\/a>) and Ilya Rozanov (<\/span>Connor Storrie<\/strong><\/a>) back to life.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We start shooting in August,” Jacob told <\/span>Gayle King<\/strong> in a joint interview with executive producer <\/span>Brendan Brady<\/strong> on the Feb. 26 episode of <\/span>CBS Mornings<\/span><\/a>. “We’re writing it now. We’re getting ready to start shooting this summer. There will be more <\/span>Heated Rivalry<\/span> on your TVs, like, truly, as soon as humanly possible.”<\/span><\/p>\n

As for <\/span>when<\/span> fans can see Shane and Ilya lace up their skates once again? April 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jacob admitted that following <\/span>Heated Rivalry<\/span>‘s release, he didn’t expect it to explode in popularity the way it did, thanks to HBO picking up the series one week before its premiere.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We didn’t know we were going to sell this show,” he explained. “We didn’t know anyone was going to watch it. I had not written a second season. I did not know I was going to get a second season. But it’s all happening.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
