For nearly $500, you could spend your afterlife in a Spotify urn.<\/p>\n The music streaming platform has partner with the beverage brand Liquid Death to create the “Eternal Playlist Urn.” The company said<\/a> it’s the world’s first wireless speaker designed to bring “your music somewhere it’s never been before.”<\/p>\n The urn, being sold for $495, is available for purchase<\/a> for a limited time. The item has a Bluetooth speaker built into the lid. Purchasers can connect the urn to their music using any compatible device.<\/p>\n To mark the product’s launch, Spotify has also introduced the Eternal Playlist Generator. Spotify users can visit the Eternal Playlist Generator’s website, where they’ll be asked to answer questions tied to the playlists’ creation including, “What’s your eternal vibe?” or “What’s your go-to ghost noise?” according to a news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n Spotify will use those responses, along with a user’s listening history, to generate a personalized playlist “for a lifetime…and beyond,” the company said.<\/p>\n Anyone interested in purchasing the urn can do so through Liquid Death’s website.<\/p>\n “Finally, death is a lot less boring,” the product listing states. “With the Eternal Playlist Urn, now the dead can listen to their favorite jams for all of eternity. Upgrade any post-life experience with this latest revolution in being dead.”<\/p>\n Liquid Death, the canned water company, is no stranger to stunt marketing. Last year, it sold 10 empty cans of its low-calorie iced tea that Ozzy Osbourne drank for $450 each.
