Tomahawk\u2019s long awaited reunion tour has finally been locked in, with the Mike Patton led supergroup announcing their first US run in 13 years. <\/h2>\n

Before anyone starts dreaming about a new Tomahawk<\/a><\/em><\/strong> record though, the band have made one thing painfully clear, this is strictly a live victory lap.<\/p>\n

The cult outfit, featuring Duane Denison, Mike Patton<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, John Stanier and Trevor Dunn, will hit the road across the US from July 18th in Nashville through to August 15th in Los Angeles, sharing the stage exclusively with the Melvins. Just two heavyweight acts doing what they do best with no rotating supports or VIP fluff (per Metal Sucks<\/a><\/em><\/strong>). <\/p>\n

If you were hoping this reunion meant fresh material, Tomahawk<\/a><\/em><\/strong> have already poured cold water on that idea.<\/p>\n

Addressing fan speculation directly, the band wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe tried to keep tickets as affordable as possible for these shows. We know horrible fees get added as well. Sharing the stage with the Melvins makes this an even better deal. There will not be any other band on the bill.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cTo answer some of the questions we are getting, we will not be adding more cities to this run\u2026 There is no new music planned. No meet and greets or any of that special package stuff. Oh and we are not taking song requests, that\u2019s not how concerts work.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are all busy with other things and not as young as we used to be so we crammed as many dates into the period that we were all available. Our booking agent solicits offers and routes the dates based on the offers received. Believe it or not we don\u2019t get offers from EVERY city.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAs of this very moment, we do not have any other touring plans in 2026. However, we are in constant contact with our agents and working on our individual schedules to see if there is interest and we might have time to visit more of you, in other countries, in 2027.
