\u201cLate Night<\/a>\u201d host Seth Meyers<\/a> on Wednesday shredded President Donald Trump<\/a> for being \u201cvery hurt\u201d that Democrats<\/a> didn\u2019t give him a resounding ovation during his \u201clong and boring\u201d State of the Union<\/a> address.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers questioned why Trump, whose record-breaking long speech placed dead last<\/a> among State of the Union addresses this century in a snap celebrity.land<\/a> poll, would expect Democrats<\/a> to kiss the ring en masse after he called on states to ban gender-affirming care for young people without parental consent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cLook, nobody stands up. These people are crazy! I\u2019m telling you, they\u2019re crazy,\u201d complained Trump as he pointed to the Democrats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers responded by using an impression of Trump while tying in several of his bizarre claims, \u201cThese people are crazy! They said electric boat batteries<\/a> cause shark attacks, they called Hannibal Lecter a wonderful man<\/a>, they sent a hospital boat<\/a> to Greenland for no re \u2014 oh, I real \u2014 those are all things I did.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The comedian emphasized that Trump was \u201cso desperate for a win\u201d that he tried to co-opt the U.S. men\u2019s hockey team\u2019s Olympic gold medal win. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Trump visited with players on the team, tried on a gold medal<\/a> and fed the athletes McDonald\u2019s<\/a> before several of the Olympians attended the speech.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cPeople are asking me, \u2018Please, please, please, Mr. President, we\u2019re winning too much. We can\u2019t take it anymore, we\u2019re not used to winning in our country,\u2019\u201d Trump began.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He continued, \u201cI say, \u2018No, no, no. You\u2019re going to win again. You\u2019re going to win big. You\u2019re going to win bigger than ever.\u2019 And to prove that point, to prove that point, here with us tonight is a group of winners who just made the entire nation proud.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers clapped back, \u201cHey man, you\u2019re not winning.
