PBS Distribution<\/a> has acquired U.S. rights to Wildgaze Films\u2019 love story \u201cTrespasses<\/a>\u201d and Hera Pictures\u2019 factual drama \u201cI Fought the Law<\/a>\u201d from All3Media Intl.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrespasses<\/a>\u201d stars Lola Petticrew<\/a> (\u201cSay Nothing<\/a>\u201d), Tom Cullen<\/a> (\u201cThe Gold<\/a>\u201d), and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson<\/a> (\u201cSex Education<\/a>\u201d).<\/p>\n

The show tells the story of forbidden love set against the backdrop of the Troubles in 1970s Belfast.<\/p>\n

The U.S. acquisition follows deals in Europe and Australia, and four nominations at the Irish Film and Television Awards.<\/p>\n
