Following reports that she and her husband have separated, Pink is officially setting the record straight. <\/p>\n

After People <\/em>published<\/a> an exclusive yesterday, Feb. 26, stating that the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist and her spouse, Carey Hart, had split, the \u201cSo What\u201d singer took to her Instagram account to share that nothing could be further from the truth.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I was just alerted to the fact that I\u2019m separated from my husband. I didn\u2019t know,\u201d she quipped. \u201cThank you, People<\/em> magazine. Thank you, US Weekly.<\/em> Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering, would you also like to tell our children? My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware. Or, do you want to talk about some real news? Do you want to talk about the Epstein files? Do you want to talk about systemic racism or misogyny in sports or how classy the women\u2019s hockey team is or how eight of the 12 medals won in the Olympics this year for the U.S. were won by women? Or do you maybe want to talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock and Roll … Hall of Fame? Do you want to talk about my accomplishments or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise?\u201d <\/p>\n

Before signing off her video post, Pink clarified that the report was \u201cfake news, not true,\u201d and encouraged media outlets to \u201cdo better.\u201d She and Hart, a motocross racer, have been married since January 2006 and share two children: a daughter, Willow, and son Jameson.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDon\u2019t Let Me Get Me\u201d singer doubled down in her caption, writing to fans, \u201cLike I always say. If you don\u2019t hear it from me, don\u2019t believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next!?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe queen has spoken \ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\udffb\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d one of the artist\u2019s 11.5 million followers wrote in the comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow much do we love her?? Pink is a national treasure,\u201d someone else stated. <\/p>\n

Earlier this week, nominees were announced for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame\u2019s 2026 induction class, and in addition to Pink, included artists like Shakira, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Melissa Etheridge and Sade. As Pink noted in her Instagram reel, part of the criteria for being eligible for a nomination requires an artist to have released their first commercial recording 25 years prior to the year of induction. Pink\u2019s debut album, Can\u2019t Take Me Home<\/em>, was released in April 2000 and went double platinum.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
