This weekend in Coral Springs is full of celebrations and opportunities to engage with the creative side, from music to collages, musicals, books and more.<\/p>\n

Looking to get away for the evening? Coral Springs\u2019 Motherhood Village will host a night out \u2014 where caregivers can drop off their kids and have a few well-deserved hours to themselves.<\/p>\n

Or, families can take part in the City of Coconut Creek\u2019s birthday celebration, which will include live music, games, rides and vendors.<\/p>\n

Sawgrass Nature Center Orchid and Plant Festival (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.)<\/i><\/h3>\n

Join residents from across Broward County for a virtual viewing of \u201cMarshall,\u201d the 2017 biopic of Thurgood Marshall, the first Black U.S. Supreme Court justice, centering his pivotal work as an NAACP lawyer. Then, follow up with an in-depth discussion about the film with Professor Tas Salini, instructor of Film History and Film Appreciation at Broward College. Head to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts for a \u201cfaithful tribute\u201d to the Face to Face tours of the 1990s and 2000s, with David Clark as Billy Joel and Bill Connors as Elton John. They\u2019ll play hits such as \u201cRocket Man,\u201d \u201cPiano Man,\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s Still Rock and Roll To Me,\u201d \u201cBennie and the Jets\u201d and others, plus deep cuts that dedicated fans won\u2019t want to miss.
