During Blanco’s Thursday, Feb. 26 appearance<\/a> on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a> alongside Lil Dicky<\/a>, 37, to promote their new podcast,\u00a0Friends Keep Secrets<\/em>, he revealed that the rapper, who was born David Burd, was his wedding officiant.<\/p>\n The longtime friends and collaborators both tied the knot with their respective wives last year in what Burd described on the show as “the best nights of our lives.”<\/p>\n “We were heavily involved [in each other’s weddings]. Unbelievable.”<\/p>\n As Blanco and Burd were getting ready for Blanco’s big day, Gomez called her now-husband to ask the “Freaky Friday” singer to remove any parts of his officiant speech that overlapped with topics mentioned in her vows.<\/p>\n “She said, \u2018Hey, just make sure Dave doesn\u2019t say anything about this part or this part because it\u2019s part of my speech,’ ” Blanco remembered. \u201cAnd that was the whole opening three minutes of his speech.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to push back, but it was her wedding,\u201d Burd joked.<\/p>\n Despite having to rewrite his opening, the speech still “really turned out great.”<\/p>\n “I’m very proud of myself,” he said.<\/p>\n While Blanco didn’t officiate Burd’s wedding, he did give a speech at the reception and brought Gomez as his date. Gomez shared several PDA-filled photos from the oceanside celebration<\/a> on Instagram<\/a> in August 2025.<\/p>\n Burd didn’t confirm his marriage<\/a> to Kristin Batalucco<\/a> until late September. At the time, he shared several wedding photos on Instagram<\/a> with the sweet caption, “I got married to the love of my life!” One photo was of Blanco giving his speech on a checkered dance floor \u2014 barefoot.
