Alicia Crowder<\/strong> is sharing when the Tell Me Lies<\/em><\/a> cast found out the show was ending and how difficult it was to keep it a secret.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe probably found out maybe one or two weeks before. I was sad,\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> at Actors Rising presented by The Actor Awards and ELLE on Thursday, February 26. \u201cI\u2019m gonna miss coming to set and being with all my friends. I\u2019m so proud of the story that we were able to tell, and I\u2019m really happy with how it all turned out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crowder, 28, admitted it was \u201chard\u201d not to tell her family or friends that the show was abruptly ending, but she feared it would get leaked to the public.<\/p>\n

Fans were crushed when the show\u2019s creator, Meaghan Oppenheimer<\/strong>, confirmed on February 16 that the hit Hulu series would be concluding<\/a> with its next-day finale after a record-breaking, three-season run.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so bittersweet,\u201d Crowder, who played Diana, said. \u201cIt\u2019s one of those amazing things that you never want to end. But I think the way that we were able to wrap everything up was incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress hadn\u2019t seen the explosive finale<\/a> until it aired on February 17.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was watching it with everyone else. I was so blown away,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cWe have such an amazing group of people. I feel so lucky to have been a part of it for so long.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crowder showed off her acting chops while playing Diana, starting out as the controlling girlfriend of Jackson White<\/strong>\u2019s character Stephen DeMarco, who eventually untangled herself from his grip and jumped into a same-sex romance with Pippa (played by Sonia Mena<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTell Me Lies is over for now \u2014 but the cast already has ideas for a spinoff. Before the season 3 finale premiered on Tuesday, February 17, creator Meaghan Oppenheimer confirmed the hit Hulu series had reached a conclusion. Us Weekly spoke with Grace Van Patten, Jackson White and more about the possibilities for follow-up [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI got lucky because Diana in season one started off as kind of like the other woman. People didn\u2019t really like her,<\/a>\u201d she explained. (Diana was involved in a messy love triangle between DeMarco and Lucy (Grace Van Patten<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\u201cThen in season 2, with her relationship with Pippa and the elaborate ruse with Stephen, people really liked her. And that\u2019s always a good feeling,\u201d Crowder continued.<\/p>\n

Her favorite Diana storyline, though, was when she found a healthy, loving partnership<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say probably when she starts her relationship with Pippa. When you see how they come together. They have this really beautiful, intimate little bubble that they create. That was really sweet because the show was so toxic and crazy, and it was so nice to have that levity and love,\u201d Crowder recalled.<\/p>\n

The star said she was \u201chappy\u201d that Diana and Pippa walked away \u201cunscathed\u201d as a couple despite all the drama<\/a> that happened during Bree (Catherine Missal<\/strong>) and Evan\u2019s (Branden Cook<\/strong>) wedding.<\/p>\n

Crowder also revealed her first thoughts when she discovered Bree was secretly in love with Evan\u2019s best friend, Wrigley (Spencer House<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
