The late Queen enjoyed an array of sweet treats and delicious puddings quite often.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>But she was partial to <a target=\"_blank\" data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/royal\/1978011\/queen-elizabeth-chocolate-favourite-treat-revealed\" target=\"_blank\">one particular sweet treat<\/a>, and it featured chocolate. Grand Harrold worked for the Royal Family and served as the butler to King Charles when he was Prince of Wales, between 2004 and 2011.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>He also looked after Prince William and Princess Catherine during his time at Highgrove.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>According to Mr Harrold, the late Queen was quite fond of a particular treat when enjoying her tea. The treat in question was a chocolate biscuit cake.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Speaking in an interview with coffee bean retailer <a target=\"_blank\" data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=76202X1587086&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.coffeefriend.co.uk%2Fc%2Fcoffee%2Fcoffee-beans%2F&amp;sref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.express.co.uk%2Fnews%2Froyal%2F2175607%2Fqueen-elizabeth-chocolate-biscuit-cake-recipe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Coffee Friend<\/a>, the former royal butler said: \u201cWhenever coffee or tea was offered, biscuits were always there if guests wanted one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Not so much if it was afternoon tea. It isn\u2019t a typical biscuit, but the Queen\u2019s favourite sweet treat to have with a cup of tea was chocolate biscuit cake.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Elizabeth\u2019s son has a different preference and wants his biscuits a bit less indulgent, according to Mr Harrold.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>He said: \u201cThe King\u2019s favourite biscuit is a Bath Oliver biscuit.
