The made-in-Vancouver reboot of\u00a0Scrubs premiered on TV this week, and while fans were delighted by the return of the popular sitcom, its stars had more mixed reviews of their time filming in the city.<\/p>\n

Stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison recently appeared on ABC\u2019s\u00a0On the Red Carpet to promote\u00a0Scrubs\u2019 revival.<\/p>\n

The trio shared their thoughts on the difference between Vancouver and Los Angeles, and their answers may inspire you to bundle up the next time you venture outside.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I learned? To appreciate Los Angeles,\u201d said Braff in a cheeky clip posted on TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the ABC LA affiliate, right? You guys know. You guys know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chalke shared that she manifested Scrubs filming in Vancouver, and that it was fun to have everyone in her hometown.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to do a comedy like Scrubs that felt like Scrubs but shoots in Vancouver,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

The Emmy Award-winning medical sitcom began filming its reboot in Metro Vancouver last October<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ABC, which aired Scrubs\u2018 final two seasons during its original run from 2001 to 2010, confirmed the revival in July, with stars Braff, Chalke and Faison each posting on Instagram to celebrate the news.<\/p>\n

The actors are reprising their roles as J.D. Dorian (Braff), Eliot Reid (Chalke), and Christopher Duncan Turk (Faison).<\/p>\n

Faison appeared to be the one who had the most difficulty transitioning from the warmth of L.A. to the chill of B.C.<\/p>\n

\u201cSarah deceived us,\u201d Faison said. \u201cSarah told me that I would be able to play golf every day when I got to Vancouver. These are things I\u2019ve learned. I\u2019ve learned to appreciate rain. I know that, I know that I can handle the cold again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m from New York. I can definitely handle the cold again from going from the trailer in my scrubs to the set. And when I came home, my wife was like, \u2018Isn\u2019t it cold?\u2019 I was like, \u2018You\u2019ve got to be kidding me.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Vancouver will be spending a lot of time on screens soon, as the Disney+ reboot of\u00a0Malcolm in the Middle<\/a>\u00a0and the feature movie\u00a0The Social Reckoning<\/a> were recently spotted filming around town.<\/span><\/p>\n

Filming for the first season of Netflix\u2019s naval thriller Trinity<\/a> and Amazon Prime Video\u2019s horror series Carrie<\/a> also wowed local film fans in 2025<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
