Indeed, Emma\u2019s real name is <\/span>Emily Stone<\/strong>, but she had to change it when she registered for her SAG card at age 16.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>I actually adopted a stage name for six months,\u201d Emma recalled on <\/span>The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/span><\/a> in October 2025. \u201cI was 16, and I decided I wanted to be Riley. For like, six months I was <\/span>Riley Stone<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And so, Emma, who is Emily, became Riley\u2014but she quickly realized that was a bit confusing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI did a guest part on <\/span>Malcolm in the Middle<\/span>,\u201d she recalled, nodding to her 2006 appearance on the<\/span> Frankie Muniz<\/a><\/strong> sitcom. \u201cAnd they kept going, \u2018Riley, Riley!\u2019 and I had no idea who they were talking to.
