Nearly 30 years later, Kathryn Newton<\/a> is proving that for every generation, a slayer is born\u2026 or at least a good onscreen fashion tribute slay.<\/p>\n

The actress\u2019 Ready or Not 2: Here I Come<\/a> co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/a> revealed how Newton<\/a> included a subtle nod to her titular Buffy the Vampire Slayer character in the upcoming horror sequel, which premieres March 20 in theaters after its SXSW debut next month.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s really funny is I didn\u2019t know any of this,\u201d Gellar told Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cSo, Kathryn brought in a picture of Buffy in this outfit. She had sort of had this idea of what it was.\u201d<\/p>\n
