Weeks after she suffered a pregnancy loss<\/a> and her husband, Travis Clark, admitted to infidelity, former reality TV star Katie Bates has entered an intensive therapy program. <\/p>\n

In a recent Instagram Stories post, the Bringing up Bates alum confirmed the news.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve wanted to come on here and say something for a while but I honestly haven\u2019t really known how to put words to any of this,\u201d she explained, per E! News<\/a>. \u201cThis year didn\u2019t start how I thought it would.\u201d<\/p>\n

She further shared, \u201cIt\u2019s been really heavy and emotional in ways I wasn\u2019t prepared for. Some days I feel okay and steady. And other days it\u2019s hard to even leave the house.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting she is taking everything one day at a time, Bates wrote, \u201cI do want to say thank you though. The love, prayers, and messages I\u2019ve received have meant more than I can explain. I don\u2019t always know how to respond, but please know I see it and I\u2019m grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bates then spoke out about the therapy program. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m getting ready to attend my first four day therapy intensive,\u201d she noted. \u201cI don\u2019t really feel equipped to handle something like this on my own, so getting help feels important. I know I can\u2019t [pour] into anything else well if I\u2019m not actually working through this in a healthy way.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also pointed out that being a mom to her children, Hailey and Harvey, and finding \u201clittle pieces\u201d of a normal life has been \u201cso grounding\u201d for her. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not very good at expressing my emotions, so this probably feels scattered,\u201d Bates admitted. \u201cBut I\u2019m trying to lean on God, and He has brought me so much comfort.\u201d<\/p>\n

She ended the post by adding that she doesn\u2019t know how much she\u2019ll share while \u201cwalking through\u201d everything. <\/p>\n

Bates Previously Stated that Her Marriage Has Been \u2018Deeply Hurt\u2019 By Her Husband\u2019s Infidelity <\/h2>\n

Along with announcing the loss of her latest pregnancy, Bates spoke out about Clark\u2019s infidelity after he publicly admitted everything. <\/p>\n

She stated that the marriage \u201chas been deeply hurt\u201d by Clark\u2019s actions. However, she also noted that she was still hoping to \u201cpreserve\u201d the marriage. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are working through this privately, seeking counsel both together and individually as we try to determine the best path forward for our family,\u201d Bates said. \u201cI am also being supported by legal counsel. This is not a quick or easy process, and it is not one I am taking lightly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
