Refusing to hold back, Dennis Quaid\u2019s Any Given Sunday co-star Lauren Holly stated she at least got to slap him in response to his support of President Donald Trump. <\/p>\n
\u201cAt I got to slap him real hard in Any Given Sunday,\u201d the actress wrote on Threads just after Quaid traveled with Senator Ted Cruz on Air Force One to attend Trump\u2019s speech in Corpus Christie, Texas, late last week. <\/p>\n
Cruz posted a video of Trump and Quaid chatting about the actor recently playing President Ronald Reagan in the 2024 Reagan biopic. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d like to ask President Reagan what you think of President Trump,\u201d Cruz asked Quaid. <\/p>\n
To which Quaid responded with a Reagan impression, \u201cWell, I think he\u2019s like me on steroids, actually!\u201d<\/p>\n
Following her initial response to Quaid\u2019s conversation with Trump, Holly was asked if she could \u201cslap the whole regime really hard\u201d for everyone.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would if I could,\u201d she answered. <\/p>\n
Responding to a video of Quaid saying he \u201cloves Donald Trump,\u201d Holly stated, \u201cIt\u2019s crazy to me at this point.\u201d <\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t the first time that Quaid has been open about his support for President Trump. <\/p>\n
While appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored in 2024, Quaid stated that the \u201conly thing\u201d he liked about Trump was \u201ceverything he did\u201d as president. <\/p>\n
\u201cPeople might call him an a\u2013hole, but he\u2019s my a\u2014hole,\u201d Quaid declared. <\/p>\n
Also, during a recent sit-down on\u00a0The Greg Laurie Show,\u00a0Quaid described himself as a \u201ccommon-sense independent\u201d but noted he leans \u201cmore conservative.\u201d<\/span> <\/p>\n He then praised Trump for his approach to the presidency, referring to the world leader as a \u201cvery personable, incredibly funny, a good listener, and a surprisingly approachable person.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201c[Trump is] very funny,\u201d Quaid noted. \u201cAnd really genuine. He wouldn\u2019t be president if he wasn\u2019t genuine. The people who voted for him know he has their best interests at heart, that he is a genuine person.\u201d <\/p>\n He went on to add, \u201cI\u2019ve never seen anybody with that kind of energy.
