Amy Madigan<\/a> won the trophy for best female actor in a supporting role at the 2026 Actor Awards.<\/p>\n

Madigan, 75, who portrays Aunt Gladys<\/a> in Zach Cregger<\/a>\u2019s original horror film Weapons<\/a>, took to the stage to accept the award. \u201cIt\u2019s such an honor to be here. I\u2019ve been doing this a long ass time,<\/p>\n

and I have never been nominated by the SAG<\/a> committee and by the [Screen Actors] Guild,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m a proud member, and I keep getting asked tonight, \u2018What is it about this night?\u2019 I said, \u2018Because actors love other actors. They just love being with them. We want to be working with them.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI\u2019m a union person. I come from Chicago. Everybody in my family, all my friends, relatives, we\u2019re all union people, and I don\u2019t care what somebody says, they\u2019re not going to bust us.\u201d<\/p>\n
