The 2026 Actor Awards \u2014 previously known as the SAG Awards \u2014 have come and gone, and the Screen Actors Guild<\/a> has celebrated the best work in their industry. The light and speedy ceremony focused on award distribution and speeches versus long comedic bits and musical numbers, but there were plenty of unexpected moments. Surprise: Michael B. Jordan<\/a> nabs best actor away from Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a><\/p>\n

Although the biggest narrative of award season has been Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet\u2019s quest for an Oscar for \u201cMarty Supreme<\/a>,\u201d his fellow actors chose to celebrate Jordan\u2019s dual role in \u201cSinners<\/a>\u201d instead. After Jordan\u2019s win, \u201cSinners<\/a>\u201d went on to win the night\u2019s big ensemble award as well.<\/p>\n
