The actress, 45, returned as host of the annual ceremony,\u00a0formerly known as the SAG Awards<\/a>, for the third time on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Clad in a bedazzled black tuxedo, Bell greeted the star-studded audience before addressing the\u00a0Actor Awards’s controversial ‘rebrand.’<\/p>\n

‘This year the show got a little bit of a facelift<\/a>. Like many people in this room can understand,’ explained Bell, while taking a dig at plastic surgery obsessed Hollywood.<\/p>\n

‘And we nipped the SAG and now it’s just the Actor Awards.’\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

After all the talk of rebranding, Bell said she ‘got to thinking’ about all the major stars who have ditched their real names for stage names over the years.<\/p>\n

This is when Bell suddenly burst into song as she exposed Marilyn Monroe, Emma Stone, Vin Diesel and more for their fake monikers.<\/p>\n

The camera flashed to Stone, Lower, Danson, Bell’s former The Good Place co-star, and Thornton as their names were shouted out by Bell.<\/p>\n

While both Stone and Lower offered polite smiles, Danson and Thornton looked on awkwardly from their seats as Bell called out more celebrity names at rapid fire.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Noah Wyle, star of The Pitt, appeared totally caught off guard as Bell pitched him the stage name ‘Indoctrinate Me.’ while Bugonia star Jesse Plemons awkwardly nodded at Bell’s bizarre suggestion ‘Jesse Plimes.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Other celebrities to be picked on by Bell were One Battle After Another stars Teyana Taylor, who she suggested be referred to be the mononymn ‘TeyTay,’ and Chase Infiniti, whose name was unique enough in Bell’s opinion.<\/p>\n

Fans also pointed to the absence of Gwyneth Paltrow and Dwayne Johnson, while others questioned the limited international representation among acting nominees.<\/p>\n

Additional omissions, including Sentimental Value on the film side and Death by Lightning in television, fueled further chatter.<\/p>\n
