Meghan Markle<\/a> was mocked by fans online<\/a> for \u201cclinging on\u201d to her husband, Prince Harry<\/a>, \u201cbig time\u201d during their two-day tour in Jordan. <\/a>The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent two days in Jordan attending various engagements to highlight the humanitarian efforts by the Jordanian authorities and a range of agencies supporting the health and wellbeing of Syrians and Palestinians who have sought sanctuary in Jordan over the decades.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They were invited there by Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus<\/a>, the director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO). In pictures circulating on social media, Meghan could be seen holding her husband\u2019s arm as they posed with Dr Tedros and other dignitaries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But fans were not impressed with the gesture and accused the duchess of \u201cclinging on\u201d to her husband.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n One user wrote on X: \u201cShe is clinging on to [Harry]h, big time! The expressions on their faces says it all!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Another one commented: \u201cThey are meant to be professional pics. Why is she hanging onto him with her double claw?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n A third one added: \u201cWho does this? I am happily married and don\u2019t feel the need to hang all over my husband in public. They are their own royalty. Why should they want to meet Abdullah or any member of his family for?. They are there for WHO, not the kingdom of Jordan.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
